Strip Away Everything

There is usually a trail of clothing down the hall leading to my studio. I don’t stop to change into my sweats that sit right inside the doorway (yes I paint in sweats) there is a forward motion that happens when I get the desire to be creative and you can see it by the trail of clothing I leave behind. It’s like I’m striping EVERYTHING from my day the worries, the todo list, the burdens all away to chat with someone who likes me in sweats with out my hair brushed and could care less about my todo list.

Then I hear a small voice saying…
Let Go of Everything you are holding tight to and let me in.
